Winston Reid announced today that he would not be going on international duty so he doesn’t aggravate a ‘dead leg’ injury he sustained early on in our game against stoke. Of course if this is the case the best place for him to be is at the club and resting his leg which leads to the questions is West Ham the best place for him anymore? The fans have really taken Reid into their hearts but everyone…

Alex Song has provided very good and professional performances for the Hammers since he first stepped onto the Boleyn Ground turf. Song moved to the Boleyn Ground from European giants FC Barcelona on loan and he hasn’t looked back. His performances have deservedly been rewarded with the Man of the Match Award nearly every match this season. Before his first match for West Ham, he admitted that he had no plans on going back …

Big Sam’s got himself bit of a selection dilemma again this afternoon, with Diafra Sakho returning and Andy Carroll rumoured to be in the match day squad. You can tell a lot about a good team by their results against sides below them in the table. The odd win against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City won’t keep us up in the dizzy heights of the top six. After dispatching champions Manchester City at the Boleyn Ground, West Ham traveled to the Brittania Stadium on the highest of highs, with victory a quite attainable goal. West Ham are delighted to announce that Umbro will be the club’s new sponsor from next season as part of a 5-year deal. Umbro will be taking over from Adidas. West Ham have been with Adidas this season and it’s fair to say, no-one wants to leave Adidas as they’ve produced three excellent kits with us. Next season will be West Ham’s final season at the Boleyn Ground so surely there will be some kind of remembrance of the ground itself…
