If the Japanese disaster could be turned into signing the wrong player this would be it! Someone is telling porkies because for a player to jump ship so fast something has seriously gone wrong in private. This deal was positively radioactive from the start! I actually really rated Diarra, you could tell when he finally played the guy was quality, commanding his position and solid at the…

In my opinion this is Allardyces best signing of the season even better then Diame! Maguire is said to be Ireland’s best prospect in years and we managed to beat off a host of TOP clubs in the Premier league and Europe for his signature! He didn’t come cheap and Waterford United have made a killing said to be 750k rising to 1 million a huge sum for them! I’ve seen Maguire …

Sebastian Lletget is said to be close to signing a new deal for us and I’m glad because he is one of a best new comers but why isn’t he playing? He is 20 and these days players are near their prime at that age, either you are good enough or not at that age and…

Confirmation of us moving to the Olympic stadium was set to be confirmed today but as per usual it has been delayed yet again. From the Guardian:- Negotiations over West Ham United’s protracted move into the Olympic Stadium are set to extend beyond Tuesday as a saga that has lasted more than two years limps towards a conclusion. The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) was expected to rubber-stamp the move on Tuesday after…

Lewis Hamilton walks on to stage to talk to Clarkson about his time in the reasonable priced car. Clarkson pipes up and I quote: Now lets first talk about your move from McLaren to Mercedes. Isn’t that like moving from Man United to West Ham? He supports Chelsea surprise surprise…..

Like most of us I had never heard of him when he signed and turned to youtube to see what all the fuss was about. Youtube being youtube always shows the brilliance of a player but they are far from it when they sign (Faubert anyone) That said I do believe Maiga actually has ability and when played has shown little interest at times but other times shown…

Our boy came back. It took a while though, I think we have tried to get him in the two previous windows and twice he turned us down so I suppose as the old saying goes it was third time lucky. In typical fashion when he came out for Liverpool against us he tucked one away for them but with very…

The Head It’s a really simple question. West Ham are earmarking Ricky Lambert as Carrolls replacement if he leaves in the Summer but the question is who would we prefer to spearhead our attack next season? – Carroll will cost 17 Million but for that you can buy Lambert. – Carroll has scored 2 goals so far Lambert has scored 11. – Carroll amazing with his head Lambert amazing with his feet. Question is will Allardyce change his formation for Lambert because the present…

Go on have the ginger nutter Diame! Well this one was the real deal! Not only our best signing but probably the best signing of the Premier league when you consider he cost us nothing! Big, powerful and scares the shit out of defenders Diame is almost the complete midfielder …

Well what can we say about Jarvis? If Allardyce loses his job it will be because of this one signing, somehow he managed to persuade G&S to part with nearly 12 million big ones (including his salary) to answer all of West Ham problems! That’s right the perfect winger who has pace, scores and get those pinpoint crosses in to Carrolls head…. Yeah I know I’ll leave it at that because it’s clear Jarvis has no end product whatsoever. …

Team off today for 5 days of ‘warm weather training’ in Dubai…….very nice! Wellington Paulista has however refused to go with them, choosing instead to stay in London and play with the Development squad this Friday. He maintains it will help get his fitness up quicker. Most people would of just gone for a free holiday! He seems committed and exciting looking player, just hope Allardyce gives him a chance soon with 3 goals in 3 games so far for…

Remember this? I do, not his finest hour alongside Ramos at the yids Rumours abound today that we are earmarking Poyet to take over Allardyce in the summer. These are only rumours remember but I can already see people saying if you are interested in Poyet then why not Di Canio? Well yeah why not? Both have about the same sort of experience in management except that Di Canio is a true hammer with a big…

I wasn’t sure what to think when I heard Allardyce had gone back to an old defender of ours and re-signed James Collins. There is no doubt that the first time he was with us he was part of one of our best ever defences under Pardew along side Upson. But to go back and re-sign an old player generally isn’t a good idea. …

That’s right Jussi take a rest and watch it fly into the back of the net So all of the signings have been in. But lets start from the beginning shall we, lets digest Allardyce’s signings one by one and see what the West Ham fans think of his dealings this season. We start with Jussi Jaaskelainen. He was brought in to replace the departing Robert Green, from the beginning this signing confused me. At the time …

MOTM Take Our Poll SHOTM Take Our Poll One step forward two back. Disgraceful losing to this bunch of jokers. Haven’t won a game since last year and of course we hand it to them. I’ve made a list of the better Hammers on the day and a list where I thought they had a shit day at the office. Vote away and if you don’t see a player on the poll which should have a vote tell…

Since we have gone through our bad patch it would appear that clubs are starting to earmark us as the club they can take three points off of. Old Lambert is saying he sees us as a 3 pointer before they go up against Arsenal and Man City and you can…

Take Our Poll I make that three goals in three outings for the ‘development squad’ – I know he’s playing against/with teenagers – but anyone reckons he might be better used sitting on the bench on Sunday?

Reckon this is going to be one hell of a boring match on Sunday. Villa are struggling to win and we are struggling to win away it has all the hallmarks of a 0-0 in my opinion. If we lose to this lot then it’s another step back after the important win against Swansea, Carroll will cause them all sorts of problems but don’t …

Apparently the rumour goes that if we don’t sign Carroll we are going to make a move for Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony. Both players though couldn’t be further apart! I had the fortune to see Ajax v Vitesse earlier in the season and at the time he was top scorer in the Eredivise. I could see why, short in height but stocky with legs like tree trunks! Those legs give him immense power so…

According various rumours appearing all over the place this afternoon, it seems that Fat Sam, assuming we survive in the Premiership (not a foregone conclusion – but let’s assume so – for arguments sake), he(?) will be given £20 million to spend on strengthening the squad. So, that pretty much rules …
