The Sun are reporting that we are after there LB Martin Olsson. Checking out Blackburn forums they are saying he has real talent but his talent lies in Midfield on the left wing and not in that LB position. Loves to get forward but doesn’t do a lot of defending. This is what they seem to think of their player Olsson LB or not he is …

Maiga off on loan and Chamakh to replace him

Rumours abound that Maiga is off on loan deals to Newcastle and/or Marseille. Well it can only be one but different reports are saying he has signed for one or both? Hey? Yeah I don’t get it either but he is as good as gone. His replacement? Well it would appear to be Chamakh on loan and regardless what we all think that is a step …

One for the future

‘Rinor Nushi is attracting a lot of interest and it is unlikely that we will be able to keep him here,’ AFC United’s sporting director Hamid Kavodvand told Sky Sports. ‘At the moment he prefers West Ham after enjoying his time there, but no deal has been agreed at this stage.’

The bottom is starting to fall out of our arse

I’d first like to say that Reading were poor and deserve to be where they are after an opening goal and then practically holding on for the whole game. But it was a great bit of tactics because they knew one goal would be enough. We officially now have an inability to score. We are mid season and three of our strikers have managed to score a grand…

‘Say it ain’t so, Joe’

The expression, depending on what side of the pond you hail from – comes from Joe Jackson (no, not the 80′s pop singer) being asked by a fan if the White-sox really did try to throw the 1919 world series…………he didn’t answer……or a song by Murray Head written in the 70′s & was a small hit by…

Lawro predicts 1-0

For some reason I have a bed feeling about this game. Even though we have injuries the cards would say this is a minimum 1 pointer for us (if not 3) but I have this horrible feeling they are going to get one over us Saturday. It’s December and generally speaking the teams in the relegation zone are going…

Hammers trying to poach Puncheon before contract talks begin (or not)

According to the Sun Jason Puncheon’s contract runs out end of the season and as of now no talks have begun. Apparently we are willing to offer 2 million to take him off their hands and that’s maybe how you should phrase it. The last two seasons he has been loaned out so I cant see him being offered a contract when he…

If this story is true then one of our strikers is going to leave next month

Not only that it will probably be the best signing the club has ever made eclipsing the Carroll deal. We have made a 10million pound offer for the Bundesliga top scorer Stefan Kießling who currently plays for Bayern Leverkusen. This season he has scored 12 goals in 17 starts for his club and is hot property. But what are the chances of this player ever coming to us? His team plays in Europe, they are a top …
