A YouGov Sport event impact study has claimed that the Major League Baseball event staged at the London Stadium last summer bought in nearly £47 million to the UK economy as a whole.
It found more than 120,000 visitors attended the games, including around 30,000 from overseas, with many more taking part in pre-game activities and events across the capital.
