West Ham seems to be very good at getting bad press, and people are still being arrested for that recent clash between Hammers and Sunderland fans in January.
It is a great shame that the image of such a great football club as West Ham is so frequently tarnished by a number of bad apples.
We know that most West Ham supporters are simply disgusted by it all. But back to the football: it hasn’t been Hammers’ greatest season, and now that it is entering its final quarter the club is languishing at 11th place in the Premiership Table, just one point ahead of Fulham, Norwich and Sunderland, and at the moment it seems that just a throw of the dice separates them. So, if you are betting on how they will end up, there are some tough decisions to be made.
There are a number of Hammers betting markets available that remain reasonably attractive. You can bet that they will finish the season in the top 8 at odds of 17/2; that they will finish in the top 10 at odds of 3/1 or that they will not at odds of 2/9. Those are the kinds of casino odds that are quite difficult to evaluate. Given that they only have another dozen games to play it is a bit like betting on red or black on a roulette reel. No doubt if you support West Ham, then you will be placing your money at 3/1. You can also bet that they will end in the top 15, but the best odds that you can get are 1/6. If you really don’t like the Hammers at all, you could bet that they won’t at 7/2.
If you want an escape from all the uncertainly at the top of the premiership, then there are some excellent football themed games that you can play at your favourite online casino. For something just a little different from the normal high roller casino games such as poker and roulette, there is a very gently slot that is receiving a great deal of attention and which is called Soccer Safari, a five reel 30 pay line game with a £25,000 jackpot and on which you can bet anything from a few tens of pence up to a maximum bet of £120.
The reason why it is called Soccer Safari is because it is set in South Africa during the last football World Cup and all of the players are stylistic representations of wild animals, and it is definitely worth a few spins.
