
JONATHAN MCEVOY: Hillsborough stood silent on Saturday afternoon in tribute to the fallen, but not forgotten, victims of football’s gravest tragedy. At the Leppings Lane End, where 96 Liverpool fans were crushed to death 25 years ago, red roses were placed on white seats behind the goal.
