Robbie Slater 1995-1996 A National Champion while still in his teens, Slater first caught the eye of Nottingham Forest in the early 80’s before eventually securing a move to Anderlecht in 1989. The Belgian side were one of the bigger teams in Europe at the time and the industrious midfielder struggled to make an impression on the first team and so moved on to French club Lens in 1990.
