West Ham’s plan to create a new family area close to the away fans’ section at the London Stadium has drawn a negative response from ClaretandHugh followers. Whilst welcoming the idea itself, a number have complained that being close to the away fans’ section really is not a great idea. We reported earlier that members of the OSB ticketing sub-group were told on Wednesday night that the proposal had been discussed with the Newham led Safety Advisory Group earlier in the week.
Previously the club had suggested the whole of the upper tier at the London Stadium was a family section with over 10,000 under 16’s season tickets in circulation but now the plan is to use block 221, close to the away fans
