Jamie Redknapp’s team of season so far… more Stoke players than Manchester City, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal!

If you had told me at the start of the season, I would be picking a half-term team with more Stoke players than Manchester City, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal, I would have asked for the smelling salts!

Sign Lua Lua Sam!

Bit left field I know, but I watched Lua Lua play for Turkish team Karabukspor recently and the guy was on fire. True, his finishing was profligate but his pace and movement were electrifying, as was his awareness of team mates. He is 32 and would be a stop gap but I reckon he would be worth a shot, offering an injection of pace that we so desperately need.

Lawro predicts 1-0

For some reason I have a bed feeling about this game. Even though we have injuries the cards would say this is a minimum 1 pointer for us (if not 3) but I have this horrible feeling they are going to get one over us Saturday. It’s December and generally speaking the teams in the relegation zone are going…
