There is no doubting it has been a hugely disappointing campaign to date for West Ham. With the continued money been invested into the squad, the side were expected to be challenging for European places and at least in the top half of the Premier league table.
However, West ham have continued to be very consistent throughout the season and will now be looking to improve greatly moving into 2020. Here we cover the victories in the league so far for West Ham this season prior to 1-0 victory over Southampton over the weekend.
Watford 1-3 West Ham
Watford are another side to be struggling greatly this season and at present look the most likely to be facing relegation. West Ham picked up an early season victory over them at Vicarage Road. It was a fairly even game throughout but very open with a large amount of chances created. Mark Noble put the hammers ahead from a penalty in the 3rd minute, before the home side drew level just 14 minutes later. New signing Sebastian Haller then scored a late brace to take the maximum points for West Ham in a 3-1 victory.

West Ham 2-0 Norwich City
West Ham then picked a second consecutive Premier league victory with a 2-0 home win over Norwich City at the London stadium. This was an impressive performance, as the hammers created many chances. Haller again got on the scoresheet, opening the scoring after 24 minutes. Yarmolenko then netted a second in the 56th minute, as the hammers kept a clean sheet.
West Ham 2-0 Manchester United
A 0-0 draw away at Villa then followed, before the hammers welcomed Manchester United to the London stadium. This saw the side produce their most impressive performance of the season, winning 2-0. Yarmolenko opened the scoring just before half-time, to continue his impressive start to the season. Aaron Cresswell then put the game to bed in the second half with a stunning free-kick into the top corner. Chelsea 0-1 West Ham
West Ham then failed to win for seven successive games. This included draws with Bournemouth and Sheffield United. West Ham also lost to Crystal Palace, Everton, Newcastle, Burnley and Tottenham. This meant they went into the away fixture with Chelsea as the large underdogs. Despite this, West Ham were able to pick up the victory with a 1-0 win. This saw Aaron Cresswell net the winner in the 48th minute, in a much needed win for the hammers moving forward.
