West Ham could get make a late move for Chelsea centre back Fikayo Tomori in the last four hours. The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg points out that Rudiger staying at Chelsea means they could go into the season with five centre-backs with Tomori obvious one to go on loan and with Everton out the picture West Ham should be in for him. Matt Law from the Daily Telegraph agrees adding that the knock-on of Rudiger seemingly staying is that Fikayo Tomori may be allowed out on loan. Born in Calgary to Nigerian parents, Fikayo has represented both Canada and England at youth level. Mainly playing as a centre-back, Tomori can also play as a right-back.
Tomori joined Chelsea at the under-8 level and progressed through the club’s academy system, He was part of the Chelsea youth side which recorded back to back triumphs in both the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016.
