Stewart Downing has vowed to fight for his Liverpool future after making clear his intentions to stay at Anfield. West Ham United followed up an initial enquiry at the end of last season by approaching Liverpool earlier this month to discuss Downing’s possible transfer but the winger is not prepared to consider a move to Upton Park.
