Swansea v West Ham Managers Reaction
Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Swansea was another magnificent clean sheet, another snuffing out of the opposition and classic counter-attacking football in the first half.
Movement of the ball, passing and movement of the players was brilliant, we cut Swansea open time after time.
We were disappointed in the dressing room afterwards as the lads knew that we should have been celebrating a little more than we were.
It was great to see Carlton Cole come on and give us a bit more of an attacking thrust.
He’s had a good header near the end that the goalkeeper’s made a good save from.
Hopefully we can keep up this magnificent defensive record but we need to score more to start getting three points on the board instead of one. Five games and one goal conceded off a very dubious penalty at Hull City is a magnificent away record to build on and our main concern now is to make sure when we play at home that we don’t lose any more matches.
We’re going to try and win against Aston Villa on Saturday and settle that score, because three defeats at home on the trot is just not acceptable for us. In the form that we showed playing in all of those three games, it’s not right to have got nothing out of them and we must turn that around on Saturday
