THE TRANSFER COLUMN: Tottenham will launch a bid for Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez in the coming weeks. Although the England international is recovering from surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, the White Hart Lane club are convinced he will be back in action before the end of the year.
