(Adds details, quotes) LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) – West Ham United have appointed Croatian Slaven Bilic as their manager, the Premier League club said on Tuesday. The 46-year-old has signed a three-year contract to replace Sam Allardyce who left Upton Park at the end of last season. Former international defender Bilic played for the Hammers from 1996 to 1997 and was a popular figure who will be welcomed back by supporters.
