West Ham United defender James Tomkins is determined to win back his place in the first team and hopes to show manager Slaven Bilic that he should be a regular starter. Tomkins, who plays primarily as a centre-back, started at right-back in the shock opening day victory away at Arsenal but was dropped for the home loss to Leicester City and came off the bench in the 4-3 defeat against Bournemouth last weekend.
