The day before the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, 32 youth teams from different countries took part in the Football For Friendship International Street Soccer tournament in Milan. The West Ham United Foundation, serving underprivileged children, took eight young Hammers, aged 12-14, to take part. Also involved were teams from Algeria, Argentina, China and Syria, who spoke to the Guardian about travelling to Italy and what playing in the tournament means The Football for Friendship programme…
