West Ham got off to a poor start in the Premier League and currently sit in 17th place, one point above the relegation zone with three wins and two draws in 11 games. Many have blamed the Hammer’s substandard form on their move to the Olympic Stadium which seems to have caused a rift between the club and its supporters.

But with the West Ham chiefs said to be hot on security and keen on sorting out the problem, it’s on the pitch where they must now focus their attention and they are keen to keep their stars and attract many more to the Olympic Park.

Reece Oxford is reportedly set to sign a new five-year deal. The 17-year-old wonder kid is said to have had his head turned by the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City but he’s now ready to commit to the London club.

The news is a huge boost for Bilic as, losing the defender, who has been likened to former Hammer and Manchester United great Rio Ferdinand, would have been a huge blow. Oxford’s deal runs out in 2018 so the club must act fast to avoid losing him on a free. The youngster is currently injured but should be ready in time for the jam packed festive season. Elsewhere on the pitch, Dmitri Payet is also said to be staying with the Hammers, despite interest of French giants PSG.

Meanwhile, Simone Zaza, has played down suggestions he may return to parent club Juventus in order to seal a deal with Napoli. The striker joined West Ham on season-long loan in the summer but has endured a miserable time in England thus far.

Zaza is without a goal in 432 minutes, and if he makes 14 appearances, then West Ham must sign the Italian international. Valencia are currently front runners to sign the goal shy star but Zaza himself has stated it would be a ‘personal failure’ if he were to depart the Hammers.

His wages are also said to be a stumbling block, Zaza is one of the top earners at West Ham and Napoli are not willing to meet his lofty demands. The club are also said to want fellow loaneeGokhanTore off their books but Besiktas are demanding £2.5 million to take him back.

According to some of the football news from SBAT, fellow Italian counterpart Manolo Gabbiadini has been linked with a move to the London club, and the striker, who can also play as a winger, coincidentally happens to play for Napoli, but is not in the plans of Maurizio Sarri. The 24-year-old has two goals to his name this season and is said to have Everton, Wolfsburg, Valencia, Sampadoria and Udinese on his tail, thus West Ham face some tough competition.

Bilic is also rumoured to be interested in AsmirBegovic. Darren Randolph has showed impressive form in his League Cup performances whilst Adrian is struggling to find his consistency that won him the number one shirt last season. However, Antonio Conte is said to be reluctant to let the former Stoke man leave as that would leave the Portuguese Eduardo as back-up.

Whilst West Brom are rumoured to be back in for Diafro Sakho after his summer move fell through due to back problems. The Senegalese international would have set the Baggies back £15 million and would be the club’s record signing. Sakho is yet to make a single appearance for the Hammers this season and regardless of his destination, it’s likely that he will leave the club in January.

In terms of arrivals, it’s possible that SaidoBerahino may sign with the Hammers. The want away striker attracted a host of attention in previous windows but has been frozen out by West Brom and sent to a training camp having been accused of been out of shape. West Ham have previously shown interest in the England U21 international and were quoted a price tag of £25 million, though now, he may cost as little as £5 million as the end of his contract fast approaches.
