West Ham Gaffer David Moyes: I’m up for the job at any Premier League Club

West Ham Gaffer David “The Gaffer”Moyes: I’m up for the job at any leading Premier League Football Club despite an unsuccessful stint at Man United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland.

The West Ham boss believes he is up to the job of managing any club in the UK and clubs around the world.

Moyes have steered the rejuvenated Hammers to 2 wins and a draw in their last 3 premier league matches to lead the east end club away from the dreaded relegation zone and hopefully an increase in season tickets with the revival of a classic TV game show Supermarket sweep that sees three fans shop for a Hammers season ticket, with help from Mark Noble, Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell.

Prior to Moyes accepting the job at West Ham he could not prevent Sunderland being knocked out of the Premier League to the Championship division last season, whilst he lasted less than 12 months at Manchester United & Real Sociedad, where he succeeded the northern legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

Despite failing at the 3 clubs in a row, Moyes has stated he will be a success at West Ham United, who’s next fixture is against London rival Arsenal in the EFL Cup quarter-final on a cold December Tuesday night.

“I have to come here and show I can do it”, Moyes stated. “If you’re any player, you have to come and show what you can do”.

“Your reputation doesn’t stand for anything. You have to come and try to get up and show you’re capable of doing the job.

“I think I’m capable of doing the job at any club in the world, so I’m sure I can do it at West Ham United.”

The Hammers Manuel Lanzini will be on the bench for the Cup tie – unless West Ham successfully appeal the decision after he was given a 2-game suspension for diving in last Saturday’s Premier League clash with Stoke City.

But Moyes defended Lanzini against accusations he deceived the referee by going to ground under a challenge from City’s Erik Pieters.

“I am a bit surprised because the incident, the referee was 10 yards from the ball, nothing blocking him, it was clear to see the defender goes for the ball and doesn’t get it,” Moyes told reporters.

“I find it strange that there are 3 people on Sunday that all say it was a penalty yet today we find there are 3 people who say it was not a penalty”, I think to be as clear as that, it is very difficult.

“After his performance on Saturday, the only thing I said to him was how well he played.”

He made the first goal, created the other 2 it was a excellent performance from him, so there was nothing that we had to say to him after the game.

“Let me be clear, I am the first one who will say ‘let’s get rid of diving and let’s make sure it’s not in the game’

That’s why I am annoyed at the decision because I don’t think anyone can be definitely sure that it was.

Moyes is hoping to bring a positive side against London rivals Arsenal as the win at Stoke has put pressure on the new boss to show that he can deliver on what he says.
