West Ham Pitch Invasion: Dad Speaks out After His Son was Apparently Ruffled up by Mark Noble
Time for me to speak out for my son! On staurday emotions well and truly got the better of him and he decided to run onto the pitch at west ham, in his eyes this was HE’S protest towards the board. For the weeks leading up to saturday he had been talking to me about “The March” and how he was happy that something positive was being done to address the issues we had against the board, believe me he spoke with knowledge and passion about the whole thing! so when I read the negetives about him its made my blood boil “moron'”‘thug'”‘idiot”…………
Thats why I think its now time for me to speak! My son has been going to west ham since he was a toddler we have been ST holders for many years. He was mascot at 4 years old and has always looked up to Mark Noble as an idol, so believe me there was no way he was showing any malice towards him! in the 1000s of photos that have been shared you will notice he had a”Board out”sign and that was all hes intentions were, to show them he and the majority of US FANS have had enough, that is all !!
He knows as well as meand he’s family & friends he was wrong for entering the pitch but he done it for a reason! hes also 19 and im sure he aint the only 19 year old to make a rash decision, so before you come to the conclusion that hes a”thug”or a”moron”ask yourself this… have you ever made a mistake based on an instinctive need to do what you thought was right. We have all made mistakes based on decisions we thought we were right at the time.
Whatever your view on my sons actions, it is done now and we would like to move on from this and allow my son to get in with his life.
Remember to check out West Ham and NIP, Ninjas in Pyjamas, they have both teamed up to take part in the Betway Esports Challenge – marking the first time a football club and esports team have ever collaborated.
On Wednesday, representatives from West Ham United met with other London Stadium stakeholders in a bid to avoid a repeat of the disturbances and announced there would be life bans for fans who came on to the pitch or threw missiles at the directors’ box.
All this comes as the team have been enjoying a nice relaxing break in Miami as the pictures of the team have caused uproar amongst fellow West ham fans as they say the team should be training not chilling out on a lovely sunny beach half way round the world.
