Following a stuttering start to the season, the hammers are now beginning to find their form.
They currently sit in 13, which puts them just five points off the top half. Considering their start, it is positive, looking forward to the rest of the season. Hammers punters have also been busy looking for the latest offers to support them on bookmakers.tv. West Ham now have a very important period with several key upcoming fixtures to note.
London Stadium
They welcome title favourites Manchester City who ominously seemed to have improved further this season. They continue to dominate every side, so if the hammers can get any points out of this game it would be a success. Following this it is an away trip to struggling Newcastle. They currently sit among the sides at the bottom of the table, so this is a game West ham will expect to win. This should be another important three points.
West Ham United
The second game of December then sees the hammers face off against Cardiff City. Cardiff are really struggling in the league following their promotion and are the current favourites to be relegated. This is no surprise considering they have just five points to date. This will be another expected three points for the hammers as they look to finish off 2018 in flying form. West ham will then welcome London rivals Crystal Palace in a big mid table encounter. Both sides remain locked together in the league, so this could be a very important game come the end of the season.
The final four games of 2018 will then be against Fulham, Watford, Southampton and Burnley. Fulham are another newly promoted side to be really struggling in the league. They continue to concede a lot of goals, so this is a game West ham will feel they must win. The hammers continue to be a big threat going forward so could be set to score several against this poor Fulham side.
The Watford game however will be a big test for West ham, as they are a side who have been in flying form this season. They sit comfortably in the top half of the table so will start as favourites. West ham will feel they can cause them problems and pick up at least a point.
Southampton are another team struggling this season, so this is another fantastic opportunity to pick up another three points. The final game of 2018 will be against Burnley. They had a fantastic season last year but have struggled to equal those lofty heights at present.
They themselves are looking to push out the relegation spots so it is another game West ham will go in as strong favourites. This run of fixtures is likely to define West ham’s season, so it is one they need to pick up plenty of points in.
