Samir Nasri is training with West Ham to try and show that he can still compete the highest level
He needs to work on his fitness to get a permanent deal at the East London club. The ex-premier league player is now a free agent and had a medical earlier this week at West Ham. The player has been given a short time window to lose a stone or two and improve his overall fitness.

Manuel Pellegrini
The manager Manuel Pellegrini is optimistic to be joined by the former Man City and Arsenal player. He has not actually played competitive football for two years after a doping ban when he underwent an illegal intravenous drip treatment in America.
The manager looks serious about landing the french midfielder, which will give him more attacking options. West Ham currently have an injury hit squad and the January window cannot come soon enough. One potential issue is the player’s wage demands of £95,000 per week, which is a gamble for the London club.
Paying such high wages could derail the rest of the team and create unrest. Furthermore, there is interest from a high profile Chinese club, who are willing to pay similar wages. The Hammers have asked Nasri to sign a contract including a reduced basic wage, as he has not played much football recently and needs to get match fit.
West Ham star Marko Arnautovic has recently said that he is considering leaving West Ham to play in the Champions League. The Austria midfielder wants to play at the highest level and is eyeing up a top six club. The player can be inconsistent and his attitude has been questioned at times but is attracting interest from Manchester United.
Arnautovic made the move to West Ham in July 2017 from Stoke for a fee of £25m and hit the ground running.
He has been in fantastic form since being used in a more central role in the team a solid bet. Scoring eleven goals last season, he is demonstrating the same form, already netting five goals in this campaign. West Ham will have to pull out all the stops to keep the moody Austrian at the club
