Manuel Pellegrini is refusing to criticise Marko Arnautovic after his lacklustre return to the Hammers first team. The striker was again disappointing against Everton and is without a goal for the club since the beginning of January which raises the big question of whether he is still suffering from a Chinese saga hangover. Former Hammers front man Dean Ashton has commented that he believed that had had an effect on the squad but the boss was in no mood to join the Arnie bashers in his presser today (Fri) ahead of the match against Chelsea on Monday evening. The manager gave no indication of his thinking fr the game against the Blues or whether the Austrian would hold his place after being started but subbed against Everton. The player then did himself little good by an angry exchange with a fan as he settled into the dug out following his low key offering on the pitch.
