
If West Ham eek out an away win, at Reading, this afternoon, they`ll equal a record set a while back….. Apparently it was back in 1898 that a West Ham side (known then as Thames Ironworks) managed to win 7 out of the first 10 away league games. Thames Ironworks – 1897
